Hello! Brand New Summer Event Guide and Schedule

hololive Dreams' first in-game event, Hello! Brand New Summer!, is a point-rally event built around Lives and mini-games. The official release stream and game accounts confirm the event format, five featured members, a new group song, and a simultaneous swimsuit gacha.

Schedule and current status

• Swimsuit gacha: scheduled for July 28 at 11:00 JST / 10:00 Taipei, Hong Kong and Beijing / 02:00 UTC.
• Event: scheduled for July 28 at 12:00 JST / 11:00 Taipei, Hong Kong and Beijing / 03:00 UTC.
• Reported event end: AppMedia currently lists August 5 at 19:59 JST. Game8 says the end time and exchange deadline should be checked in the in-game notice, so treat this as a current guide-site report rather than an official public deadline.

The official Japanese and global English accounts announced the event without naming a platform or region exclusion. Public posts also do not state an account-level or story requirement. If the event button is missing after the scheduled start, finish the client update, restart the game, and read the in-game notice before troubleshooting anything else.

How the event loop works

1. Play the eligible Lives and mini-games shown on the event screen.
2. Earn Event Points and Event Badges.
3. Use badges in the event exchange for the event Memory and other items.
4. Collect rewards tied to total event points, then check every separate claim button before the deadline.

Featured-member cards increase point and badge gains. The five new swimsuit cards also provide an event-score bonus. The exact multipliers depend on the card and Bloom state; check the live event details before rebuilding a team around a number copied from a pre-event guide.

Start with the strongest cards you already own for these five members. A reliable clear with a smaller bonus is better than failing a high-difficulty chart with a theoretical maximum bonus. Compare the event preview before and after changing the team so you know which setup actually improves your points and badges.

Efficient first-day route

1. Open the event details and record the end and exchange deadlines shown on your client.
2. Build one stable team using owned bonus-member cards; do not pull first and read the rules later.
3. Test the event song and one comfortable mini-game once each.
4. Compare rewards per run and repeat the route you can clear consistently.
5. Buy the event-limited Memory first if you want the unique collectible, then scarce upgrade materials, then repeatable low-priority items.
6. Recheck the exchange after earning a new title or event-point milestone; completion and claiming are often separate actions.

Use our free-to-play Diamond plan before deciding whether an event bonus justifies pulling. Continue the permanent daily Holomem routine, but give expiring event rewards priority.

Do not use pre-release tier rankings as a pull verdict. The official public posts available at verification time did not give us enough stable evidence for the full banner end time, pity behavior, or exact event-bonus multipliers. Check the banner details in game once it opens.

New event song
